After an approach by a firm of accountants in Nundah, a planning application was made to the local authority to demolish an aging industrial building on Sandgate Road and construct new offices. Approval was granted contingent on the external facade of the new building reflecting favourably on the heritage listed school of arts building adjacent. Every effort was made during design and construction to create a building facade sympathetic to the adjoining building. Even the sandstone keys in the arch centres were sourced from the same quarry.

All internal joinery is solid silky oak in keeping with the materials in use when the original school of arts building was constructed.
